Three Quick Tips To Boost Traffic Through Your Blog
Content can be difficult to keep up with, especially in the Mental Health space where more and more people seem to be contributing every day. And while that's great, it can be difficult to get your site seen through the crowd.
Here are Three Quick Tips to improve your content and boost your traffic.
1. Break Up Your Text
Let's face it. The internet has taken all the literary rules we learned in school and tossed them out the window. Long paragraphs tend to be skimmed or skipped altogether.
If you want to keep your readers engaged, a good rule of thumb is to keep your paragraphs between three to five sentences.

2. Add Graphics To Your Article
For much the same reason as the last point, adding pictures within the article breaks up the texts and makes for an easier reading experience. Adding ALT text will also improve readability (and Google really likes it!).
3. Consistency!
I know, this one is by far the most difficult, but it's also the most rewarding. Google and your readers like to know what to expect from you so deciding on a schedule and sticking to it is extremely important for building trust and gaining traffic.
According to Hubspot, updating between 3 and 5 times per week is good for gaining organic traffic to your site.
Need Some Help?
One of the best ways to boost your blog without losing your mind is to ask for help! Hiring a freelancer can be a great way to increase your blog activity without having to hire an employee.
